You can wander around the historic area that is Poble Vell, the old fortified part of town which has a castle, a church, arcades, portals and rows of balconies. It is possible to sense the medieval atmosphere while walking through the streets and squares here, and during November the renowned medieval fair takes place, with performances, a market and various kinds of artisanship.
There are excursions and outings for discovering the open spaces of the surrounding area, such as the forest Pla de Reguant, the San Salvador hermitage, and Coaner sanctuary.
There are also routes which take you through Cardener, the main medieval area. Tours through the territory of Cardener allow us to enjoy the churches, castles and old villages, and give us a real sense of the region's history.
